Every pair of Fred.B socks you buy goes further than your feet. It brings comfort, dignity and warmth to someone who needs it most. That's not a percentage of profits. That's not a quarterly charity round-up. That's one bought, one donated — every single time.

How It Works

  1. You buy a pair of ethically made Australian socks.
  2. Your purchase is added to our donation tally — tracked and accounted for.
  3. We donate in batches as orders accumulate, working directly with our charity partners to get new socks into the hands of people who need them.

We're a small Australian business and we're honest about that. There's a production lead time on donation socks, and we donate throughout the year rather than in a single annual event. What doesn't change: every pair purchased is donated. No exceptions. No fine print.

Hope in a Suitcase — Socks for Children in Transition

Hope in a Suitcase provides essential items — socks, pyjamas, books — to children entering foster care and safe homes. These children arrive with little or nothing of their own. A pair of new socks is a small thing. On the worst day of a child's life, it's something that's just theirs.

One Bridge — Socks for People Sleeping Rough

One Bridge nurses head out to check on people experiencing homelessness across Queensland. Socks are one of the most requested items they carry — and one of the least donated. 

We made our first delivery to One Bridge in August 2025. It won't be the last.

Why Socks

Socks are the single most requested item at homeless shelters in Australia. They're also the least donated.

Clean, dry socks reduce foot injuries, protect against infection, and offer something harder to measure: dignity. For someone sleeping rough or a child arriving at a stranger's house, a new pair of socks is not a small thing.
